Includes top compression rings, second compression rings, and oil control rings. 🔧

Top compression rings are barrel face and help transfer heat between the piston and cylinder wall to support consistent performance. 🔥

Second compression rings use a reverse torsional taper face to promote side sealing and prevent oil from being forced under the ring, improving oil economy.

The reverse twist design plus a taper‑machined ring face reproduces the OD bottom-side scraping edge of a positive twist torsional ring for reliable sealing.

Oil control rings are a three-piece flex vent; the three-piece design and small rail cross-section improve conformability to the bore while four steel rails and two expanders provide uniform pressure for positive oil control. 🛠️

Two rings per groove, except for the rails which use two rail rings per one expander; sets include enough rings for two pistons unless noted.

Due to the thermal conductivity and design of KB pistons, special attention is required to the top ring end gap — please read the instructions furnished with the piston for correct ring installation.

For KB pistons only, not for OEM pistons; note that some KB-specific kits include only enough rings for one piston.
