HASTINGS Replacement Piston Rings — Bore Size 3.000" – 86-03 Sportster

🔧 This replacement piston ring set includes top compression rings, second compression rings, and oil control rings for dependable sealing and oil management.

Top compression rings are barrel face to improve piston-to-cylinder contact and assist in heat transfer between the piston and cylinder wall.

Second compression rings are Napier design; the reverse twist ring combined with a taper-machined ring face duplicates the OD bottom-side scraping edge of a positive twist torsional ring to promote side sealing and prevent oil from being forced under and behind the ring.

Oil control rings are a three-piece flex vent design, with two rails and two expanders providing uniform pressure through four steel rails to assure positive oil control and better conformability to the bore.

Made in the USA. Includes enough rings for two pistons unless noted. For '86-'03 883 cc XL Evolution applications, sets include enough rings for one piston only; you must order two sets for a complete motor.
