Includes top compression rings, second compression rings, and oil control rings. 🔧

Top compression rings are barrel face and help transfer heat between the piston and cylinder wall while controlling combustion gases so the piston can transfer energy to the crankshaft.

Second compression rings feature a reverse torsional taper face that promotes side sealing to prevent oil from being forced under and behind the ring, resulting in better oil economy. The reverse twist with a taper-machined ring face duplicates the OD bottom-side scraping edge of a positive twist torsional ring.

Oil control rings are a three-piece flex vent design; the three-piece construction allows rails with a small cross-sectional area for improved conformability to the bore and provides uniform pressure through four steel rails and two expanders for positive oil control.

Includes enough rings for two pistons, with two rings per groove except for the rails, which use two rails per one expander.

Due to the thermal conductivity and design of KB pistons, special attention is required to the top ring end gap. Please read instructions furnished with piston for correct ring installation.
