The bearing door is machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and uses wider bearings with retainer plates for increased durability and serviceability.

Gears are manufactured from 8620 steel, cut prior to heat treat and precision ground with diamond-coated tooling for quieter operation; fourth through sixth gears are helical for silent engagement.
