Direct replacement for the Cruise Drive Harley-Davidson factory 6-speed that installs without case modifications, shimming, or adjustments. ⚙️
The added seventh gear lets the motorcycle make full use of torque and power from 96 ci, 103 ci and 110 ci motors, improving highway cruising and fuel economy.
Unlike the stock mainshaft, the DD7 mainshaft is lightweight and uses only a small first gear to minimize shift clunk and reduce inertia during shifts.
Engineered with a shortened first gear and tightened spacing on the remaining ratios for smooth, continuous acceleration from first through fourth gear.
Shift smoothness is achieved with a new linear roller ball detent integrated into the supplied billet top cover.
The kit includes the seventh main drive gear, main drive gear bearing and seal to replace the sixth main, plus a bearing door, door gasket, side cover gasket, top cover gasket and a self-adhesive DD7 side cover emblem.
The bearing door is manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminum and uses wider bearings with retainer plates instead of stock snap rings; ARP 12-point bolts, a re-cal box with leads, and all necessary hardware are included.
DD7 door bearings are 28% wider than stock, the set reuses the stock shifter pawl, and the entire kit is made in the USA. 🇺🇸
