🔧 This gear set delivers significantly smoother shifting, lower highway RPM for relaxed cruising, and improved fuel efficiency.

Kit includes trap door, all gears, mainshaft, countershaft, shifter drum, detent components, bearings, snap rings, gaskets and installation hardware.

Roller detent shift drum with reduced inertia and gear dogteeth with lead-in ramping provide smoother, more positive shifts; gearsets are made from 8620 steel, cut before heat treating and precision ground for quieter operation.

Bearing door is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and features wider bearings with bearing retainer plates instead of the stock snap ring design.

Fits into stock and most aftermarket 5-speed transmission cases; exhaust bracket may require modification when installing this kit. Recalibration of electronic speedometers (see part 2210-0391) is required after installation.
