412 Series shocks are designed specifically for Harley models and deliver a simple, durable, cost-effective improvement to your motorcycle's suspension performance. 🏍️

A five-position cam-style spring preload adjuster lets you quickly and easily dial in your ride for varying loads and road conditions.

• Some or all shocks listed are approved for road use; refer to the most recent certificate for current listing.
• Multiple style options are available, including full show-chrome or black covers, or chrome or black springs and end caps.
• All shocks are measured center-of-eyelet to center-of-eyelet.

When installing shocks on '86-'15 XL models, it may be necessary to modify or space the chain or belt guard to allow proper clearance. A shock slightly longer than stock may quicken steering, while a slightly shorter shock may slow it.

Heavy duty applications are recommended for bikes operated at or near the manufacturer's maximum load rating more than 50% of the time.

Before purchasing or attempting to install shocks that differ from OEM length, confirm wheel travel and clearances to avoid swingarm, axle, exhaust, chain/belt guard, or tire contact.
