Progressive Suspension 412 Series Shocks — 292 mm (11.50"), rear, black

The 412 Series Shocks provide a simple, durable suspension upgrade designed specifically for Harley models. Made in the USA, they deliver improved ride quality with a five-position cam-style spring preload adjuster that makes dialing in your setup straightforward.

All shocks are measured center-of-eyelet to center-of-eyelet. Some or all shocks listed are approved for road use; refer to the most recent certificate for current listing. Before purchasing or attempting to install shocks that differ from the OEM length, confirm that wheel travel and clearances will not cause contact with the swingarm, exhaust, chain or belt guard, or tire.

Installation notes: on '86-'15 XL models it may be necessary to modify or space the chain/belt guard to allow proper clearance. A shock slightly longer than stock can alter head angle and quicken steering; a slightly shorter shock can slow steering. Heavy duty applications are recommended for bikes operated near the manufacturer's maximum load rating more than 50% of the time.
