Designed specifically for Harley models, the 412 Series Shocks provide a simple, durable and cost-effective suspension upgrade for your motorcycle.

The 412's straightforward construction improves performance without unnecessary complexity. A five-position cam-style spring-load preload adjuster lets you quickly dial in ride feel for rider weight and road conditions. Some or all shocks listed are approved for road use; always refer to the most recent certificate for current listings.

All shocks are measured center-to-eyelet. When installing shocks on '86-'15 XL models, you may need to modify or space the chain/belt guard to allow proper clearance. A shock slightly longer than stock can alter head angle and provide somewhat quicker steering, while a slightly shorter shock can slow steering response.

Heavy duty applications are recommended for bikes operated at or near the manufacturer's maximum load rating more than half the time. Before purchasing or attempting to install shocks of a non-OEM length, confirm that wheel travel can be altered without creating clearance issues such as swingarm/axle to exhaust contact, or chain/belt guard or tire contact. 🔧⚠️
