The Race Series® oil system packs for M8 deliver improved oil flow, greater scavenge capacity and cooler operating temperatures for more reliable performance under load.
- Includes Race Series® oil pump, full-travel or short-travel hydraulic roller lifters, high flow camplate and complete cam installation kit.
- Increases oil flow and volume by enlarging pump reservoirs and matching portholes to the engine case to feed lifters, piston cooling jets, crankshaft and rod bearings.
- Tested relief valve: sealed to a minimum of 30 psi with full pop-off at 55–60 psi; results show 10–30 lbs more psi of oil pressure.
- Up to 42% more scavenge volume and 68% more oil volume to crank and rod bearings; engines run 15°–25° cooler and oil 15°–30° cooler.
- Eliminates common pressure and scavenge issues, wet sumping, blow-by and oily air cleaners; dyno tests show up to 2 hp and 2 ft·lb torque to the rear wheel.
Race Series® components are bench tested and engineered to hold tighter tolerances under temperature, increasing reliability and smoothing engine operation.
Kit contents include: Race Series® oil pump, Race Series® full-travel or short-travel hydraulic roller lifters, high flow camplate and cam installation kit, cam bearing, cam/crank bolts and washers, and assembly lube.
Notes: M-Eight engines must check clearance on front exhaust lifter to camshaft flange fit. A block-off plate is required when using gear drive cams.
