The 583G Gear Drive Camshaft Kit reverses the rear cam's direction of rotation, providing additional operating clearance between cam lobes to allow for higher cam lifts. ⚙️

By eliminating timing chain lash and loosely fit stock chains, this kit increases valve timing accuracy and delivers strong low-end torque and horsepower, with peak performance between 1500–5000 rpm.

Installation requires removing material from the inner surface of the stock gear cover and the use of a hydraulic press and professional-level tools.

• Cam bearings and gaskets must be replaced.
• S&S recommends using an adjustable pushrod/cover kit (sold separately).
• Kit includes camshafts, inner gears, outer drive gears, inner and outer bearings, gasket and instructions.

Made in the USA. Due to inherent characteristics of gear drives, increased valve train noise may be heard. Installer must check coil bind, valve-to-valve clearance and valve-to-piston clearance. Not recommended for engines with compression ratios greater than 10.1:1. 🇺🇸
