Alternate Length Designer Series ABS-Specific Front Brake Line Kit provides ABS-compatible alternate-length brake lines engineered to follow OEM routing for proper function. 🏍️
This kit includes a direct-fit lower assembly intended for use with alternative-length upper lines; upper, lower and mid kits and adapters are sold separately to ensure correct fitment.
Brake lines use PTFE inner tubing with aramid fiber reinforcement and a braided exterior covered by a crystal-clear jacket that resists scuffing, paint damage and discoloration.
Designed specifically for Harley-Davidson motorcycles equipped with ABS, these kits must be used with ABS systems to maintain anti-lock braking ability; ABS-specific upper and lower kits are identified with “ABS” printed on the hose.
Fitment notes: single-disc Dyna and Sportster models use two kits (upper and lower). Softail models generally use three kits (upper, mid and optional lower), except '18+ dual disc models.
Touring dual-disc models use three kits; Trike models use an upper and a mid-line only. Non-stock applications require measuring upper line length and banjo angle to ensure correct fitment.
To measure upper line length for Softail, Dyna and '14+ Sportster models, use the stock master cylinder line as a guide: pull back the rubber boot and measure from where the flexible line enters the crimp collar, following the OEM routing to the master cylinder.
'18+ Softail specific notes: when reusing the stock lower line, an adapter is required; measure from the lower manifold to the master cylinder, subtract 1.5" for the adapter and round up to the next length. If replacing both upper and lower lines on '18+ dual disc Softails, no adapter is required.
Assembled in the USA and sold per unit; consult fitment instructions prior to ordering.
