Enhanced construction engineered for compatibility with Harley-Davidson ABS systems and designed to follow OEM routing for both stock and alternate length brake lines.
The kit includes a direct-fit lower assembly to be used with alternative length upper lines; upper, lower, mid kits and adapters are sold separately to achieve correct fitment for a variety of models.
Braid color and weave match related control cables and brake lines, while a crystal clear outer jacket protects paint and chrome without discoloring.
Brake lines use PTFE inner tubing with aramid fiber reinforcement, premium braided jacketing and an outer PVC cover to greatly reduce expansion and preserve brake feel under load.
Installation notes: single disc Dyna and Sportster models require two kits (upper and lower); Softail models typically use three kits (upper, mid and optional lower) with an adapter required in many '11 - '17 and '18+ configurations; Touring and Trike models use a mid-line plus an upper line to complete the ABS routing.
Measure upper line length using the stock master cylinder line as a guide; for '18+ Softail upper replacements that reuse the stock lower line, subtract 1.5" for the adapter and round up to the next length. When replacing both upper and lower on '18+ Softail dual disc models, no adapter is needed.
Failure to use ABS-specific upper and lower brake lines may compromise anti-lock braking performance. ABS-specific kits are identified by the letters "ABS" printed on the hose.
