The vented dipstick vents excessive crankcase pressure from the oil tank through a PCV-style breather. It features an oil separator system with a perforated disc, a replaceable filter element, and an umbrella flapper valve. 🔧🛢️
- Screws into the factory oil fill spout as a direct replacement.
- Reduces blowby pressure forced past the rings into the crankcase and oil tank, helping decrease oil sump loss and improving revving smoothness and fuel economy.
- Includes two venting options: (1) 1/8 NPT breather fitting with internal porous filter, (2) quick-disconnect coupler with rubber hose and filter element.
- Two ways to read the hot oil level: FHS (Full Hot Stand — bike on the jiffy stand) and FHU (Full Hot Upright — bike level).
- Recommended hot oil level: 90%–99% full.
- Note: the oil pickup port is on the right side of the engine; warming the bike on the kickstand can naturally fill the engine case and skew tank level.
