Four LEDs cover the full‑to‑empty voltage range used on performance batteries; the fourth very‑bright LED indicates top charge.
In battery mode the LED matching the charge level blinks every 5 seconds to keep long‑term draw extremely low (<0.2mA).
In vehicle charge system mode, the arrow LED activates at charge thresholds to show when the alternator is reaching charge and when it is in the ideal range.
