The OptiMate TM72 Cig / DIN Plug provides a weatherproof lead to connect OptiMates and AccuMates with white TM connectors to standard car cigarette lighter sockets and many small 12V accessory sockets on BMW, Ducati, Honda and Triumph motorcycles. 🔌
The detachable red sleeve can be removed to fit smaller motorcycle accessory sockets, and the plug also mates with the matching TM78 accessory socket.
Compatible with almost all OptiMate chargers (except OptiMate Pro 4‑S) and ideal when the standard fused permanent lead is impractical.
Made with thick copper 18 SWG cable for reliable conductivity and a weatherproof connection; length 50 cm.
Important: confirm the vehicle cigarette lighter or accessory socket is live when the ignition is off. The lead is wired for negative earth vehicles; for positive earth, rewire the screw terminals accordingly. ⚠️
If your OptiMate uses a black SAE-compatible connector, use cable O‑02 instead of this plug.
