• Some or all shocks listed are approved for road use; refer to the most recent certificate for current listing.
• Multiple style options are available, including full show-chrome or black covers, and chrome or black springs and end caps.
• All shocks are measured center-of-eyelet to center-of-eyelet; installation may require modifying or spacing the chain/belt guard on '86-'15 XL models.
• A shock slightly longer than stock may alter the head angle and provide somewhat quicker steering, while a slightly shorter shock may slow steering.
• Heavy duty applications are recommended for bikes operated near the manufacturer's maximum load rating over 50% of the time.
• Before purchasing shocks that differ from the OEM length, confirm wheel travel and clearance to avoid swingarm, axle, exhaust, chain/belt guard, or tire contact.
