The 422 Series shocks feature a remote adjustable preload (RAP) system for quick, on-the-fly tuning. 🏍️

The RAP knob is conveniently located behind the left passenger peg and can be turned in either direction to set spring preload to match changing loads or the addition of a passenger.

Because the Softail chassis hides the shocks under the frame, common adjustments are difficult; these shocks provide accessible tuning without major disassembly.

Before purchasing or attempting to install shocks that differ from OEM length, confirm your wheel travel and clearances to avoid contact with exhaust, chain/belt guard, or tire.

Heavy duty applications are recommended for bikes operating at or near the manufacturer's maximum load rating over 50% of the time.
