The Softail chassis hides the shocks under the frame, making common adjustments difficult. 🔧

The RAP (Remote Adjustable Preload) system lets you tune preload quickly to account for changing loads or adding a passenger; the control is conveniently located behind the left passenger peg.

Simply turn the knob in either direction to set the spring preload for the ride you want.

Before purchasing or attempting to install shocks that differ from the OEM length, confirm wheel travel changes will not cause clearance issues with the swingarm, axle, exhaust, chain or tire.

For bikes operated at or near the manufacturer's maximum load rating more than half the time, consult the manufacturer for the appropriate specification.
