Progressive Suspension 412 Series Shocks — 292 mm (11.50") extended length, Black, Rear

The 412 Series Shocks provide a simple, durable upgrade designed specifically for Harley models. Their straightforward design makes them a cost-effective way to improve suspension performance, and a five-position cam-style spring-load preload adjuster lets you fine-tune your ride.

Some or all shocks listed are approved for road use; refer to the most recent certificate for the current listing. Multiple style options are available, including full show-chrome or black covers, and chrome or black springs and end caps. All shocks are measured center-of-eyelet to center-of-eyelet. When installing shocks on '86–'15 XL models, it may be necessary to modify or space the chain or belt guard to allow proper clearance. A shock slightly longer than stock may alter the head angle and provide somewhat quicker steering, while a slightly shorter shock may result in slightly slower steering.

Before purchasing or attempting to install shocks that differ from OEM length, confirm that wheel travel can be altered without creating clearance issues such as swingarm or axle to exhaust contact, chain or belt guard interference, or tire contact. Made in the USA
