Feuling Parts Vented Dipstick — Black

The Vented Dipstick vents excessive crankcase pressure from the oil tank through a PCV-style breather. It features an oil separator system, a perforated disc, a replaceable filter element and an umbrella flapper valve to limit blowby and oil loss.

It screws into the factory oil fill spout as a direct replacement and offers improved engine behavior: fueling tests show reduced oil sump loss, smoother revving and increased mpg.

There are two ways to read the oil level: FHS (full hot stand) with the bike on the jiffy stand, or FHU (full hot upright) with the bike level. The dipstick includes two venting options: a 1/8 NPT breather fitting with an internal porous filter, or a quick-disconnect coupler with rubber hose and filter element.

It is important to get the correct hot oil level; the manufacturer recommends running the oil level 90%–99% full when hot. The oil pickup is on the right side of the engine, so letting the bike idle on the kickstand can skew the tank level. Made in the USA. This dipstick does get hot — use a glove when checking oil level.
