• Includes top compression rings, second compression rings, and oil control rings.
• Top compression rings are barrel face for improved sealing and ring stability.
• Second compression rings are Napier; reverse twist with a taper‑machined face duplicates the OD bottom‑side scraping edge of a positive twist torsional ring.
• Oil control rings are three‑piece Flex Vent; four steel rails and two expanders provide uniform pressure and positive oil control.
• Three‑piece design allows rails with a small cross section for better conformability to the bore and improved oil economy.
• Helps transfer heat between the piston and cylinder wall and controls combustion gases to transfer energy to the crankshaft.
