HASTINGS Replacement Piston Rings — 3.538" bore, +0.040" oversize – 78-83 Big Twin, 79-80, 83 Touring, 82-83 FXR

Replacement piston ring set includes top compression rings, second compression rings, and oil control rings for two pistons.

• Top compression rings are barrel face to assist heat transfer between the piston and cylinder wall.
• Second compression rings are Napier style with a reverse twist and a taper‑machined ring face that duplicates the OD bottom‑side scraping edge of a positive twist torsional ring.
• Oil control rings are a three‑piece flex vent design, providing uniform pressure through four steel rails and two expanders for positive oil control and improved oil economy.
• Two rings per groove, except for the rails which use two rail rings per one expander; includes enough rings for two pistons.
