Feuling® recommends pumping up each lifter by hand prior to installation to remove air and provide a fully pumped lifter; a thin-weight oil like ATF in a squirt can works well. Feuling® also recommends Race Series® lifters for engines running higher than 185 lb (84 kg) valve spring seat pressure and the use of a high-volume oil pump for quieter, better performing lifters.
