High Load Beehive® valve springs provide race-level durability and precise valve control for high-lift, steep-ramped camshafts.

Key features include premium stress-relieved conical ovate wire with nitrided surface heat treatment, shot-peened enhancements and Nano Peen™ polish for superior fatigue life.

The kit uses a much smaller, lighter retainer to reduce valve weight for quicker rev response and smoother motion, and includes lightweight 10° titanium retainers, machined heat-treated chromoly spring seats, seat shims, valve locks and premium Viton® valve seals with a spring-loaded stem wiper.

Performance specs: seat loads vary by installed height (examples: 170 lb at 1.935" / 0.720" lift; 215 lb at 1.800" / 0.585" lift), 415 lb at 1.215" open height, and coil bind at 1.125". Springs must be installed to the correct open height to match cam max lift.

Dyno proven and track tested, these Beehive® springs are designed as direct replacements with no rocker box clearance required for many applications and allow up to 0.750" lift where specified. Larger camshafts may require valve guide machining for seal-to-retainer clearance.
