• Top compression rings feature a barrel face for reliable sealing and improved heat transfer between piston and cylinder wall.
• Second compression rings are Napier-style with a reverse twist and a taper-machined face that duplicates the OD bottom-side scraping edge of a positive twist torsional ring.
• Oil control rings are a three-piece flex vent design, providing uniform pressure through four steel rails and two expanders for positive oil control.
• The three-piece design allows rails to be made with a small cross section for better conformability to the bore and improved oil economy.
• Promotes side sealing to prevent oil from being forced under and behind the ring.
• Includes enough rings for two pistons, with two rings per groove except where rails are used.
