Alpinestars SM3 Solid Helmet — XS, White

The SM3 helmet is engineered for MX, enduro and off-road use, featuring innovations optimized for ease of use, comfort and impact performance.

The shell is thermo-injected with a special polymer blend and varying thicknesses to deliver an optimal balance of impact protection and low weight.

A patented low-friction coating is applied to the inner EPS liner to reduce rotational acceleration forces from oblique impacts.

This low-friction layer acts as a slip plane to mimic cerebrospinal fluid, the body's natural defense against oblique impacts.

A patented visor release system ensures visor detachment at a predetermined force, reducing neck loads during an impact.

Maximized ventilation and efficient heat transfer are achieved through 10 inlets and 7 exhaust ports for sustained airflow.

Shell composition: 48% acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene, 20% polyurethane, 16% polystyrene (EPS), 6% polypropylene, 4% polyvinyl chloride, 2% ethylene-vinyl acetate, 2% steel, 1% expanded polypropylene, 1% polyamide.
