An Alpinestars-patented low-friction coating is applied to the inner expanded polystyrene liner to reduce rotational acceleration from oblique impacts, mimicking the brain's cerebrospinal fluid.
The visor features a patented release system that ensures correct pre-determined release force to reduce neck loads during an impact.
Ventilation is maximized with 10 inlets and 7 exhaust ports for efficient heat transfer and airflow.
Shell composition includes acrylonitrile-butadiene-styren, polyurethane, expanded polystyrene and other engineered materials for controlled energy management.
