Each helmet fit size is paired with an appropriate shell size to deliver an anatomical fit for a wide variety of head shapes, and removable semi-soft polymer side pads increase contact area to help spread impact energy.
The patented A‑Head Fitment System allows easy adjustment of the helmet’s angle and height on the head, while the ultra-ventilated design provides 28 intake and exhaust ports (18 intakes, 10 exhausts) for optimum airflow.
The Multi-directional Impact Protection System (MIPS) adds two low-friction layers that act as a slip plane to reduce rotational forces from oblique impacts, mimicking the brain’s natural cerebrospinal fluid defense.
ERS emergency visor release and a visor extension improve protection from roost and sun exposure, and a new eject helmet removal system aids emergency handling.

The shell construction uses a multi-composite layering with 3K carbon and uni-directional carbon layers for enhanced radial strength and controlled deflection, plus an aramid layer for penetration resistance and an epoxy resin bond to optimize strength and energy management.
A redesigned chin bar profile and softer EPS liner extend protection beyond the shell and incorporate a flexible rubber cover to reduce the chance of collarbone injury.
