Alpinestars SM5 Sail Helmet — 2XL, Gray

The SM5 Sail Helmet combines a lightweight, impact‑resistant outer shell with a multi‑density inner liner to deliver targeted energy absorption and long‑wear comfort. 🪖

Side shell coupling with soft EPS foam helps prevent collarbone injury in the event of a crash, while the inner and outer surfaces are engineered to minimize the effects of oblique impacts.

An emergency release system and removable cheek pads permit safe, easy removal of the cheek pads while the helmet is still on, complemented by 3D contoured foam for enhanced rider comfort.

The removable comfort liner features Silverplus® treated anti-bacterial fabrics for excellent moisture wicking; the anti-microbial liner is removable and washable for hygiene and longevity.

Hydration tube channels are integrated into the cheek pads for convenience and performance, and a soft 26 mm chin strap with stainless steel D-rings provides a secure, comfortable fit.

A patented visor release system ensures predictable visor release forces, while maximized ventilation and visor-directed airflow keep heat transfer high and riders cooler.

The helmet is engineered with advanced polymer components for durable performance and reliability.
