Inner shell construction uses EPS material allocated at different densities to disperse energy on impact, while the outer shell is produced in two mould sizes and uses aramid carbon fiber with epoxy resin for a lightweight, resilient structure.
The flip-up mechanism converts the helmet from full-face to open-face without removing the chin guard, and the opening/closing action is operated easily via a button on the lower part of the chin guard.
Ventilation comes from an intake on the chin guard and two extractors on the upper shell, all adjustable to control airflow, and the visor is injection-moulded polycarbonate with anti-scratch treatment. 😎
An internal dark sun visor deploys with one hand via a button on the lower outer shell edge, and the interiors are fully removable, washable, and treated for hypoallergenic comfort.
The helmet includes an "Advanced Padding System" kit for a customizable fit, an external housing for Bluetooth® communicators, a micrometric chinstrap for quick adjustment and release, and standard nose guard and chinstrap.
