The Moto Fork ADV oils are composed of selected mineral compounds reinforced by special additives, conferring high anti-wear capacity and long-term stability.
What type of fork oil?
Inverted fork: inverted forks require a thinner oil with an SAE viscosity between 2.5 and 5. These forks are primarily used on off-road, enduro, and motocross motorcycles and provide better terrain feedback. A viscosity grade of 5 may also be recommended for small 125cc motorcycles and small road bikes.
Conventional fork: conventional forks fitted to road motorcycles require oil with a viscosity index of 10 to 15, or higher. Riders with a sporty style who want to prevent the fork from diving under sudden braking may use higher viscosity (up to 20).
Moto Fork ADV oil provides optimum damping all year round, with excellent behavior in air: limited bubbling and very rapid de-aeration, plus excellent compatibility with elastomers used in motorcycle forks and shock absorbers.
