Machine valve spring seats to achieve the proper installed spring height and correct spring cup fitment.

Hardened pilots fit both 3/8" and 1/2" hand drills, and cutter bodies and pilots are interchangeable for versatile use.

The cutter cuts a spring seat to 0.550" ID x 1.180" OD and is intended for M8 cylinder heads running high lift camshafts, where material under the valve seat pocket can be thin.
