The transmission speed sensor mounts into the sensor port on most '96 and newer OEM Harley-Davidson and aftermarket Big Twin transmissions.
It provides a pulse signal to the speedometer, which calculates and displays the motorcycle's speed accurately.

When used with a six-speed transmission, use the transmission speed sensor spacer supplied with the transmission to ensure proper fit.
