Race Series® Camchest Kit with Short Travel Lifters delivers increased oil flow, higher pressure and cooler temperatures for M-Eight Twin-Cooled and M-Eight Oil-Cooled motors. 🏁🔧
Billet 7075 aluminum oil pump is 50% harder and stronger than the factory pump, holding tighter tolerances under temperature and featuring magnets to help protect gears and the pressure relief valve.
Short travel hydraulic lifters feature 0.115" of total travel to reduce valve float and valve-train harmonics, raising usable rpm while maintaining a quiet-running engine.
Deeper scavenge kidney ports and port-matched passages provide significantly more scavenge flow, with up to 53% more scavenge gear volume for M-Eight Twin-Cooled and 27–42% improvements depending on motor cooling configuration.
The pump provides up to 30% more pressure gear volume over stock on M-Eight Twin-Cooled motors and delivers 68% more oil volume to the crankshaft and connecting rod bearings, reducing wet sumping, blowby and oily air cleaner issues.
Tested gains include approximately 2 hp and 2 ft·lb to the rear wheel on M-Eight engines, plus Feuling tests showing a 50% reduction in engine sump oil level. Expect 10–30 psi higher oil pressure and 15°–30° cooler oil temperatures in many installations.
Kit includes: Race Series® high volume oil pump, High Flow billet camplate, Reaper® Series camshaft, Race Series® short hydraulic roller lifters, one-piece pushrods, Timken/Koyo cam bearing, rocker arm studs and nuts, gaskets, O-rings, ARP cam/crank fasteners, washers, moly paste and Loctite.
Made in the USA. Not for '23–'24 models with 121" VVT motor. Requires high-lift/high-load valve springs.
