- Material must be removed from the inner surface of the stock gear cover for installation; a hydraulic press and professional tools are required.
- S&S requires the use of the adjustable pushrod/cover kit when installing this camshaft kit.
- Cam bearings and gaskets must be replaced when installing new cams.
- Installer must check coil bind, valve-to-valve clearance and valve-to-piston clearance during installation.
- Best power band from 3000–6000 rpm; due to the inherent characteristics of the drive system you may experience increased valve train noise.
- Not a bolt-in camshaft kit; professional installation is strongly recommended.
