🔧 The 551G Gear Drive Camshaft Kit is a bolt-in cam set engineered for 96 to 106 CID engines with 9:1 to 9.9:1 compression. Designed for stock or mildly modified touring bikes, it delivers more power across the rpm range with the strongest gains from 1,000–4,000 rpm and improved low- and midrange torque.

• Reverses rear cam rotation to provide additional clearance between cam lobes, enabling higher cam lifts.
• Eliminates timing chain lash for more accurate valve timing compared with loosely fit stock chains.
• Includes inner and outer gears, inner and outer bearings, gaskets and instructions.
• Installer must check coil bind, valve-to-valve clearance, and valve-to-piston clearance; cam bearings and gaskets must be replaced when installing new cams.
• Due to inherent characteristics of gear drives, increased valve train noise may be experienced.

Material must be removed from the inner surface of the stock gear cover for installation. A hydraulic press and other professional-level tools are required; this kit is intended for experienced installers or professional shops.

Not recommended for compression ratios of 10:1 or greater. Made in the United States.
