S&S Cycle Cam Chest Kit with 496 Cam — 496 Series grind, 243°/227° duration, 0.485" lift

High-precision cam chest kit designed to improve oil flow and reliability.

Oil pump and cam plate are precision machined from billet aluminum for superior strength and long-term accuracy.

Passage plugs are removable for servicing, and debris screens protect both scavenge pickups to reduce contamination.

Independent scavenge sections manage the flywheel cavity and cam chest separately, and a magnet in the cam chest helps keep debris from entering the oil pump.

The kit includes an updated oil pump and a groove for an optional OEM oil seal, plus an adjustable pressure relief valve that can be set with the unit installed in the engine.

Features Quickee pushrods, hard-anodized tappet cuffs, and close tolerances for reduced valve train noise and improved stability at high lift and high rpm.

Fast pump-up and superior high-rpm performance deliver confidence on the road and during aggressive use.
