This ABS-specific brake line kit is engineered for anti-lock brake systems and designed to follow OEM routing for alternate-length applications.
The kit provides a direct-fit lower assembly intended to be used with alternative-length upper lines; upper, lower, mid-line and adapter kits are sold separately to achieve precise fitment.
Brake lines use PTFE inner tubing with DuPont™ Kevlar® aramid fiber reinforcement and a premium braided outer layer inside a clear protective jacket to minimize expansion and resist scuffing or discoloration.
Installation notes: single-disc Dyna and Sportster models typically use two kits, many Softail models use three kits (lower optional on most), Touring models use three kits, and Trike models use two kits. Measure existing lines or use the 49" mid-line reference where specified to determine correct upper length.
Adapters are required for certain Softail model years to complete the connection between the ABS controller and the master cylinder; if replacing both upper and lower on some dual-disc models, an adapter may not be needed. Follow model-specific measurement instructions before ordering.
Assembled in the USA, these ABS-identified hose kits ensure compatibility with anti-lock braking systems; using non-ABS-specific lines on ABS-equipped motorcycles can compromise ABS performance.
