This ABS-specific front brake line kit provides alternate-length upper brake lines designed to follow the OEM routing for reliable anti-lock brake performance.
Lines feature PTFE inner tubing with DuPont™ Kevlar® aramid braid, premium signature braids and a crystal-clear outer jacket that resists scuffing and will not discolor, reducing line expansion for consistent feel.
The kit is a direct-fit lower assembly intended to be used with alternative-length upper lines; upper, lower, mid and adapter kits are sold separately to ensure correct fitment for each application.
Application notes: single-disc Dyna and Sportster models use two kits (one upper, one lower); Softail models commonly use three kits (upper, mid and lower optional); dual-disc Touring models use three kits (upper, mid, lower); Trike models use two kits (upper and mid).
An adapter is required for many Softail upper-line installations to complete the connection from the ABS controller to the master cylinder on certain model years, while some '18+ dual-disc Softails connect directly without an adapter.
Follow the vehicle-specific measuring instructions for upper-line length and banjo angle to ensure proper fit; non-stock applications require careful measurement before ordering. Assembled in the USA.
Important safety note: Harley-Davidson motorcycles equipped with ABS require ABS-specific upper and lower brake line kits; using non-ABS lines may compromise anti-lock braking ability.
