The PTFE inner liner is inert and compatible with all hydraulic and brake fluids, with a heat range of -158° to 500°, and it protects systems from moisture better than materials like nylon.
The PVC outer coating improves appearance, provides abrasion protection for expensive parts, simplifies cleaning, and resists damaging UV rays.
The stainless steel braid offers superior pressure rating, flame resistance, and minimal volumetric expansion compared with other materials, including aramid, giving unmatched stopping power.
High-speed operation, rapid gear changes, and heavy braking put great strain on hydraulic systems; 600 Series hose resists expansion under high pressure and temperature to maintain firm, consistent pedal feel without sponginess. Use dash size 3 for most braking systems and dash 3 or 4 for clutches; dash 2 is the smallest brake hose for increased line pressure and a more responsive feel.
600-03 hoses are available with abrasion-resistant covers in a range of colors for identification, ease of cleaning, and cosmetic appearance: Black (BK), Blue (SB), Carbon (CB), Clear (CL), Clear with print (CLG), Green (GN), Red (RD), Yellow (YE), Orange (OR), Electric Blue (EB).
