The TPU lower shell includes an innovative shifter area for reduced front roll and precise shift lever control, with dedicated left and right foot designs. A metal shank and reinforced toe zone add impact and abrasion protection, and a Kevlar® layer beneath the wear limit indicator preserves structure and integrity.
Medial and lateral double pivot systems, along with a low-profile ankle pivot, deliver improved flexibility and precision control. Shock-absorbing inserts in the front bellow zone and targeted padding on the ankles and shin provide progressive impact absorption. Strap holders and self-aligning polymer and aluminum closures ensure a secure, customizable fit.
Additional features include a contoured TPU calf protector plate, extended medial grip panel for enhanced contact and heat resistance, a soft microfiber gaiter that seals out water and dirt, an additional TPU rear bridge protecting the Achilles, and an updated compact TPU shin plate with reinforced hook-and-loop closure. The one-piece, replaceable sole uses a dual-compound vulcanized rubber for durability, with an embedded wear limit indicator to show when replacement is needed.
