Contoured calf protector plate and a low-profile ankle pivot provide impact resistance and freedom of movement, complemented by shock-absorbing inserts in the front bellow and targeted padding on the ankles and shin plate.
The strap holder limits excessive rotation, and polymer buckles with an aluminum frame and self-aligning quick-release closures ensure a secure, customized fit; the buckle receiver prevents strap rotation for consistent closure performance.
An extended medial panel with an enlarged rubber insert maximizes grip contact and heat resistance, while a soft microfiber gaiter and pull flap reduce water and dirt entry and improve prehensility.
