The thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) lower shell features an innovative shifter area that reduces front roll and improves shift lever control, with dedicated left and right designs. The structure is further strengthened with a metal shank and reinforced toe zone for enhanced impact and abrasion resistance.
A medial and lateral double pivot system delivers improved flexibility and precise control, while a contoured TPU calf protector plate and low-profile ankle pivot offer superior freedom of movement and comfort. Front flexion zones include shock‑absorbing inserts, and additional padding on the ankles and shin plate increases impact absorption.
The closure system combines polymer buckles with an aluminum frame and self‑aligning quick‑release closures for a secure, customized fit. Strap receivers are engineered to self‑align and prevent strap rotation.
Upper construction pairs extensive TPU protection with suede leather and lightweight microfiber for high impact and abrasion resistance. A Kevlar® layer beneath the wear‑limit indicator maintains structure and the one‑piece, dual‑compound vulcanized rubber sole is durable and replaceable.
