Upper construction uses an innovative abrasion-resistant microfiber with a protective synthetic polymer on the toe box to provide water resistance, durability and long-term consistent fit. Contoured advanced polymer core structure and a high modulus polymer shin plate protect against impacts while allowing controlled flex and a personalized closure via a Velcro® adjustable panel.
Additional performance features include a medial-facing biomechanical pivot system for linked upper/lower flexibility, a lightweight accordion flex zone at the instep and Achilles for comfort and control, and a rear TPR gaiter over the TPU calf protector for added protection and comfort.
Closure and ergonomics are optimized with polymer/fiberglass buckle arms, high-impact aluminum bridges, memory quick-release locking and easily replaceable buckles.
