The primary microfiber material delivers water resistance, durability and an easy-to-maintain finish while maintaining a consistent fit through extended use.
Redesigned accordion flex zones at the instep and Achilles use lightweight microfiber to provide superior comfort, control and support. A contoured advanced polymer core structure envelopes the upper for structural integrity and controlled flex, and an anatomically profiled high-modulus polymer shin plate offers impact and abrasion resistance with a Velcro® adjustable panel for a secure, personalized closure.
A medial-facing biomechanical pivot links lower and upper sections for front and rear flexibility and structural support. Inner and outer panels use formulated polymer with grip sculpture patterning for maximum contact with the bike and improved abrasion resistance. A rear TPR gaiter atop the TPU calf protector gives added protection and comfort.
The innovative buckle closure blends polymer, fiberglass and high-impact aluminum bridge closures for durability and weight saving; the system features memory, quick release/locking and self-aligning design for precise, secure fastening. Buckles are easily replaceable and TPU buckle straps are ergonomically profiled to promote front flexion.
An injected one-piece TPU dual-compound foot shell provides excellent impact and abrasion resistance and houses a metal shank and co-injected toe reinforcement for added safety. The exclusive dual-compound sole integrates seamlessly with a multi-density foot base for built-in support, superior durability, grip and feel while riding; the sole is replaceable. A TPU heel patch connected to lateral and medial TPU parts offers protection and support, while soft poly-foam around the ankles and collar plus full interior textile lining deliver shock absorption and all-day comfort.
