Alpinestars Bionic XTR Plasma Protection Jacket — 2XL, Men's

Engineered for all forms of off‑road riding, the Bionic XTR Plasma Protection Jacket combines anatomically profiled Nucleon Plasma protectors mounted in a soft‑touch chassis for comfort, light weight, and superior airflow.

The jacket features composite Nucleon Plasma and semi‑rigid thermoplastic construction on the chest, back, shoulders, and elbows to deliver adaptive, high‑performance impact protection.

The floating chest protector mounts a Nucleon Plasma puck with a semi‑rigid outer shell on a highly perforated 3D mesh, offering protection, flexibility, and excellent breathability while side wings provide a performance fit.

The floating back protector uses composite construction with a central semi‑rigid thermoplastic zone on a Nucleon Plasma back protector to disperse impact forces across a critical area. Bionic Neck Support (BNS) compatibility is provided via the removable Nucleon Plasma puck.

Removable elbow and shoulder inserts sit on a slim‑fit stretch mesh chassis and use two independent thermoplastic shells for improved abrasion resistance, sliding performance, and added impact protection. The ribbed protectors promote airflow and minimize skin contact.

Adjustable shoulder and V‑configured side straps ensure an optimized performance fit that follows the spine and prevents material bunching, while soft thermoformed shoulder padding enhances on‑bike comfort.

The central mesh chassis zipper and removable protectors allow easy washing and practical use, and the product meets recognized protection standards: back EN 1621‑2:2014 Level 2; chest EN 1621‑3:2018 Level 2; elbow and shoulder EN 1621‑1:2012 Level 1.

Materials include a blend of polyurethane, polyamide, ethylene‑vinyl acetate, polypropylene, thermoplastic polyurethane and other fibers for durability and light weight.
