Alpinestars Youth A5 S v2 Chest Guard — Size S/M, Black, Red

Super-ventilated dual-zone chest and back protection combines a rigid central zone with a flexible soft compound around the perimeter for adaptive fit and impact management.

• Perforated impact grid on the inner side of the outer shell provides a second line of protection and boosts airflow to reduce heat buildup.
• The central zone behind the highly perforated grid is open to maximize ventilation while viscoelastic construction keeps weight low and flexibility high.
• Removable viscoelastic shoulder protectors mount on soft-touch foam and attach with hook-and-loop patches; elastic upper-arm straps secure them in place.
• Adjustable shoulder straps, easy-connect side buckles and V-straps deliver a customizable, secure fit and spread tightening forces for added comfort.
• Rib guards extend coverage in critical areas, and a removable pouch panel with elastic pull tabs enables compatibility with common systems.
• Seventeen percent of the protector structure consists of ventilation apertures aligned through hybrid layers to channel heat away from the chest.

Back protector meets EN 1621-2:2014 Level 1; chest protector meets EN 1621-3:2018 Level 2; shoulder protector meets EN 1621-1:2012 Level 1.

Materials include polyurethane, polyester, thermoplastic elastomer, polypropylene, EVA, polyamide and other polymers for a balance of protection, ventilation, weight saving and comfort.
